COMPUTER STUDIES

The Midlands Community College is registered as a training centre for the ICDL (International Computer Drivers License). The course consists of seven modules. The ICDL modules are as follows:

Module 1: Concepts of IT (Information Technology)
Module 2: File Management (Creating files and folders etc)
Module 3: Word Processing (MS Word)
Module 4: Spreadsheets (MS Excel)
Module 5: Databases (MS Access)
Module 6: Presentations (MS PowerPoint)
Module 7: Internet and e-mail

We also offer a 10-day Basic Computer Course for learners who have no experience with operating a computer.
