Vegetable Production
This is a 15 day course suitable for learners who would like to
work in the agricultural field or set up their own vegetable
growing business.
The course covers the following unit standards:
- Fertilise soil and attend to basic plant nutrition, ID 116206, Credits 5
- Plant the crop under supervision, ID 116200, Credits 4
- Recognise pests, diseases and weeds on crops, ID 116204, Credits 5

Poultry Production
This is a 15 day course suitable for learners who would like to
either work in the poultry industry or open their own poultry
businesses. The course is based on the unit standard Produce
Poultry Broilers, ID 119450, credits 15, Level 2. While the course
focuses on broilers, the course includes layer management. Course
content includes managing the poultry flock; keeping records;
planning the poultry business; finance and sales.
